Bye Bye September!
And helloooooo October!
I didn’t reach my goal but that’s alright. However I am being more consistent with working out and lifting weights! I just can’t believe that this month is over already! So I’ll just keep this little goal for the month of October as well. Maybe second time’s the charm right?
My goals for October:
- Get out of the 160’s.
- Continue working out for at least 30 minutes a day
- Continue to lift weights consistently
- Keep a food diary and jot down my workouts
Before you know it, the holiday season will be here! That means a lot of food and temptation. I want to lose a little before the season of my favorite holiday treats approaches!
September
I have only one goal for you, September. Sorry, no long list of things I know I should change but can’t. None of the over-the-top challenges I tend to make for myself. I don’t have the room for failure this month. I just have one goal this time:
- Get out of the 160’s.
That’s only four pounds. I can lose that this month, and I will. And by the end of this month, my scale will read one-fifty-something-point-something.
A weekend at the beach in August.
Every year, my family (aunts, cousins included) and I go down the shore for a weekend altogether. Not sure what beach we’ll be staying at this year but we will be going on the 20th, I think.
That gives me a little less than a month to look a little better in a bathing suit. I’m glad that I have finally started losing weight again and that I am getting better with my food choices. I’m not perfect though, there are slip ups, but I am slowly but surely going in the right direction.
I really want to feel confident at the beach this summer. I’m not too worried about losing a bunch of weight. My main goal is to be more toned, especially in the abs and legs area.
Will this year be different from all the other years? I hope so!
Goodbye May, Hello June!
May 2010 goals were:
Continue to be consistent with exercising
Continue to make healthier food choices
- Start toning 2-3 times a week
Stop putting myself down
- Learn to appreciate myself regardless of me losing weight or not
Hmmm. Numbers 1,2,4 I can say that I did good in those areas. Numbers 3 and 5 I need to work on.
Total Loss: -10.4 lbs!
June 2010 goals are:
- Lift weights and tone (must must must!)
- drink more water
- Lose another 8-10 lbs
- learn to cook healthy meals and snacks myself (experiment!)
- hit the gym at least 5 days a week
June. The official start of summer and fun in the sun. This month will be a good one =]
Goals for May
Yay! May is here! I just love the month of May. It’s the month of my birthday, the weather gets super nice, and well, I just love it! I think I did pretty well for the month of April. The only goal I set was to lose 10 lbs. I didn’t quite make it, but I lost 8. I think that’s a pretty good start from a girl whose middle name is procrastination. haha.

I am going to do my best at sticking with these goals. I didn’t want to set another weight goal but I know if I can stick with the five above then I’ll lose something!
Morning Again!
I’ve decided to skip weighing in today. My weight loss goal for april was 8-10 pounds and since April still has a few days left I thought it would be best to weigh in on Friday. I’m pretty excited since I have stayed on track this week and I have decided to cut processed foods from my meals during the week (though I’m keeping the fat free salad dressing). It hasn’t been bothering me too much since the only “processed” foods I had been eating were the salad dressing, instant oatmeal, and small servings of wheat bread and whole grain pasta. I’m pretty okay without it.
No gym today, so that means another living room workout. =]
